Providing constant feedback on health and wellness is a simple, yet often overlooked subject, that can constantly support growth and adolescent development.
Preventative healthcare begins with education. Young students become responsible for their own wellness and care, and these changes require constant support. Reliable information should be available to accompany a child or adolescent through all stages of life. Patient and child friendly academic resources are few and far between, making retention difficult and unengaging. As more complex content is added, students should have the option to engage in an investigative process to maintain interest and engagement in extremely beneficial subject matter.
Students and adolescents should be constantly encouraged to find curiosity in the exploration of health and wellness. This sense of disconnect during adolescence can carry into adulthood and create an educational barrier between a patient and their provider. Simple, guided visual graphics should be constantly available to students and adults alike; offering a safe, free, and convenient option for any type of learning, lesson planning, and exciting future scientists.
Students deserve to have access to their wellness, and have distinct authority over their personal learning. Interactive design is often used to engage students, offering control over resources and environment. The desire to maintain an open-ended learning database, creates a communicative environment for students and caregivers to investigate the content at their own pace, and within a concise, logical pathway.
